2010-02-21 #gear #tutorialsIf you're in for more experiments and wanting to do something with your rolls of film a bit differently other than baking it, cutting it into pieces and even fermenting it; how about cross processing? I know, this is much common now in Lomography next to cheddar cheese, but there is a scientific way of doing it! And all you need to know about it is here, courtesy of our Tipster of the week!

Holga Unmasked!
written by ipdegirl on 2012-04-03 #gear #tutorialsSee what you can do with your Holga when you DON'T use the 12 or 16 mask. It's naked, leaky, and overlapping fun. I have been using my Holga without either the 12 or 16 frame mask and have been getting some really nice results. I love the exaggerated vignetting and light leaks that occurred on every picture. These pictures all came from The Art of Waiting roll from September 2010, shot on Fuji Velvia.

Review: Fuji Sensia 100
written by shuttersentinel17 on 2011-11-18 #gearSometimes it is possible to predict the prominent hues of a cross-processed slide film; like how Provia appeared greenish blue and Astia purple and magenta. But Sensia 100 is in a whole different category!

Cross-Processed Fuji Velvia 50 RVP: Keeps the Spirit of Your Scenes
written by andyresag on 2012-04-12 #gearA while ago I ordered Fuji Velvia 50 RVP 35mm color slide film because I liked the idea of getting very fine grained pictures it promises to deliver. It is a slow speed film that, if treated with xpro, features slight to medium versatile color shifts and very saturated colors. Compared to the Velvia ISO 100's typical red and purplish hues, cross-processing the Velvia ISO 50 brings you more subtle but still distinctive results. It's not the best choice for night photography. Now, the colors that it brings is what I like about it.
