"Around the World in Analogue" is your bite-sized guide to the most amazing travel destinations across the globe, as documented by the members of the Lomography community. Today, lomographer @akio_nakai showcases the vibrant atmosphere of Shibuya during Halloween.
This time it is not a trip, but I will introduce what Halloween is like in Shibuya, Tokyo. In Japan, cosplaying during Halloween increasingly getting popular the past years and young people who wear disguises, from authentic ones to simple costumes, during this period are increasing.
They have gathered in Shibuya and Ikebukuro a few weeks ago. I think this phenomenon is at the top of the world. Ordinary young people enjoy making fancy costumes for this day so please see Shibuya Halloween!
