The World According to Herr Willie: Olympiastadion Berlin
written by wil6ka on 2015-05-19 #placesThe 2015 UEFA Champions League Final will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on June 6. It is a place full of history and is also the only football stadium with a blue track course. Some say it is the most beautiful stadium in the world, and I totally agree with them. But then agai,n I might be biased because it is the home court of my favorite team, Hertha BSC Berlin—my blue-white bloodline.

Los Angeles-based artist and photographer Diane Meyer has gained instant fame for her embroidered analog photos. In this interview, she talks about adding a new dimension to pictures as well as her source of inspiration and other projects.

I Love Watching People Doing Their Work
written by bloomchen on 2012-02-07I claim: you can´t get more authenticity than with people at work! I guess a lot of poeple can´t think of stepping into a store, bakery, coiffeur or whatever, take out their camera and ask if they can take a few pictures. But you being an (silent) observer ensures you getting authenticity and you decide the moment which is worth being captured - not the right facial expression you need to quick pull the trigger.

written by bloomchen on 2012-04-11 #gearAfter testing the Ilford Sportsman 300S in week 1 and being pretty satified with it, I tested the Minox 35 EL I got for €2.49 from eBay in week 2. This one I got from eBay too, but I paid more for it. I didn´t know anything about it but I noticed it the first time bccbarbosa had some nice shots uploaded, taken using one of the tiny Minox 35 series. That was my motivation to buy it.

My Analogue Bucket List: Faster Than a Speeding Cannonball
written by bloomchen on 2015-01-22The new year is still young, but it seems as if it'll be over quickly. My organizer is already filled with entries until June. 2015 will probably be worse than 2014 when it comes to having time off so I could take some analogue shots. Anyway, there are some photography-related things that I really want to get done. It is probably best to set some goals if I only have very limited time.

2012: A Year of Analogue Passion
written by bloomchen on 2013-01-10This last year was my first full year in this great community. I got in touch with very nice and interesting people around the globe and I saw many many great pictures which in fact wasn´t helpful for my bank account. I was really inspired by a lot of shots you took and so I badly had to buy this and that and try this or that. But thanks a lot for the input. Here, I want to show you my favorite shots of the last 12 months, one for each month, which is pretty hard to choose. You won't miss my best failures too, and the ones I like from the best of the community.
