Tell us about yourself. What are your main interests?

I’m an architect for living but I got many passions like analogue photography, shooting and editing videos, creating furniture, and making graphic designs for clothes. You can check it at my personal blog. Also, I have a separate blog in Polish about design, focusing mostly on ecological ones.

Tell us something about your LomoHome’s name. Why did you decide to have that username?

My LomoHome name is my artistic alias. I wanted to invent a unique name and I think I’ve made it.

Share with us your most memorable experience in the Community.

The most memorable experience was when I discovered the Lomography website especially the Tipster section. It is a bottomless pit where I was able to find extraordinary information about experiments in photography.

Have you actually met people in the Community that you now consider as close friends? If yes, name at least one of them.

I’ve got a lot of friends on Lomography but I haven’t met anyone in person. They are still a big inspiration for me and their works keep me moving forward.

Do you think you’ll still be taking Lomographs in the next 5 years? Why?

Of course I will. This is my way of life. I don’t leave home without an analogue camera.

What is your favorite Lomo camera and why? Do you have any memorable experiences using this camera?

My favorite Lomo camera is Holga. I’ve got six of them in different colors. Unfortunately not all of them are working correctly because of my adventures. The most memorable experience was when my first Holga fell into the sea and its flash died. Then, it was eaten by rust and its shutter got blocked but I was still able to use it for a long time.

Please share with us your favorite Lomographic shot and explain why you love that particular image.

This werewolf mask is a part of my photographic world. It served as my inspiration in shooting many films. I’ve taken that mask at many parties and I’ve watched the reactions it elicits from people. Funny thing is that aside from my friends, my family also likes to wear it.

In this particular photo, a friend of mine wore the mask. He is passionate about finding abandoned places where we could do our photo sessions.

Please share a Lomograph you wish you had taken and explain why.

I admire hodachrome's series of photos taken using a splitzer while exposing both sides of the film. The result is amazing! His series with dolphins and flowers is astonishing. I love double exposure the most that’s why I really admire his fresh and creative ideas.

What’s the best Lomographic or photography advice you think you have given?

Go analogue.

If there’s one song or movie that best describes your Lomo life, which one is it and why?

I Believe by Simian Mobile Disco

I love this song and the video, too. It was shot so well that you can stop and take a decent picture from each frame.

Is there any advice you can give to new analogue shooters?

Don’t you ever dare stop shooting photos even if some of your friends tell you that they don’t like them. Those moments that you captured with your camera are only yours and they are priceless.
