   Nice to see i'm not the only intrigued :) But moreover that to much surprise I can read this! I remember your people casually use both cyrillic and latin letters, but until today I didn't know they are used intermixed! What street is this? plaque is partly hidden by street sign... I googled for graffiti in Beograd - haven't found this one - but got tons of mixed emotions as many are about current grievous events. Shall try to figure out the story myself!

I am standing in front of it, the mural is located in the old part of Belgrade called Dorćol, it is located on Hercega Stjepana street, on the corner with Miće Popovića Street. Next to the portrait is written: ABIDAL 1988-2022 and on the other side is the following text: "One day, when everything has passed, when my years have reached me, know that the day will never come, the day when I will not be with you" Google Translate killed the beauty of the text, and I don't know how to properly translate it for you since I am self-taught as far as English is concerned, but you will understand the essence of the text. I will try to photograph it when there are no parked cars in front of it, so that it can be seen in its entirety.

    @vozac100posto thank you for details and efforts! As far as I can see the inscription and guess the meaning of familiar words, the translation is exact enough and still retains "poetic" feeling! We see now that poor Abidal probably was not as notorious historic figure as, Herceg Stjepan himself, for example, but still the picture is so impressive in its liveliness so even this photo is striking when one browses your page of recent shots :) No worry about English! I guess it is the same with all of us and it is very lucky we can communicate in it at least!
