Beatrice first session
That day I was on a bycicle trip to Bern carrying a lot of photo-equipment with me. I wanted to give my new "old" Minolta Dynax 9xi a try. When I arrived at the Schwellenmätli in Bern after taking some pictures in the animals park of Bern before I saw this beautiful lady sitting next to the river. She was barefoot and was reading a book. I couldn't wait to "steal" some pictures of her. Her feet with the purple painted nails were shining in the sun and I really liked her style. I was nearly at the point of leaving but then I changed the film and I decided to talk to her. She was kind and I made her some compliments about her sweet feet and style. I asked her if I could take some pictures of her feet and she agreed. So I started with the feet but than I took some portraits too. I offered her a mini-shooting at the Dampfzentrale close by and yes, she was happy to do the shooting. She was a really great and natural model. So that is how I got to know Beatrice.
