I got my hands on what ended up being a free Polaroid Colorpack camera. It needed a lot of love. I spent almost two hours sanding the battery terminals where the cells had leaked and cleaning the dried chemicals from the old film pack that had crusted up inside. Suddenly it came to life again. I think it was worth the effort. I love the pictures. I wish I had one of these earlier.

Island of Hawai’i

Country/Region: United States
Island of Hawai’i

The Big Island of Hawai’i is the biggest of the eight main Hawaiian islands, hence its name. On the Kona side, the island is covered with black lava rock, a result of lava flow from the island’s five volcanoes. On the Hilo side, the island is covered in lush landscape because of the frequent rain, which never fail to bring rainbows. Set out on a snorkeling adventure or explore the diverse environment with your Lomography gear.
