We recently teamed up with Nostàlgic Photo Store for a special 110 LomoSchool Workshop in Barcelona. The participants, under the guide of the amazing LomoAmiga Marta Pilotto, had the chance to try different 110 cameras and create wonderful fine art portraits on film. Today we share the participant's photos and hear their thoughts on the experience!

"The workshop was a great success, we loved doing it at Nostàlgic, everything combined to have a fantastic experience. The participants came with a lot of desire to learn and to shoot analogue. Immediately they formed a group with a lot of initiative and creativity. Marta inspired the participants a lot and everything flowed in a very positive way. The model, Paola, made it very easy and was very charming."

"At the end, most of the participants asked us when the next workshop would be, and that's the best sign that they enjoyed it. The wait to see the results has also created a lot of expectation and illusion, and the results have been magical. Thank you Lomography for choosing our space for this very special experience." - Nostàlgic team

"I personally chose to turn a “photo walk” into a Fine Art Portrait Workshop, despite the fact that the 110 format is mostly used for Street/Travel photography. Judging by the enthusiasm of the participants, I can say that it was the best choice. We all had fun creating different concepts together and the time flew by. There was no shortage of laughter, since none of us had ever shot in 110." - Marta Pilotto

"I had a blast at this workshop! It was my first experience shooting film with a model and using the adorable Fisheye Baby 110 camera. I experimented with Lomography Turquoise and Color Tiger films. Initially, aligning the viewfinder and lens for a well-framed shot was a bit challenging, but I loved the results. I always appreciate the beauty in imperfections, and experimenting is always so much fun." - Agni Ayushatya

"The truth is that the experience was amazing! We had the opportunity to create scenarios and images as a team, learning from each other and collaborating to create images that conveyed emotion. It was fun to try out the different and original Lomography cameras with the various 110 films. In addition, Nostàlgic's space is beautiful. Paola, the model, is a charming person, very willing to do anything and with a good sense of humor, and Marta, the teacher/guide was attentive at all times and was close at all times, being one more of the team."

"I am a social educator, and photography is one of my hobbies, to which I dedicate more time lately. Being able to experiment with new cameras and formats was a great opportunity, even more so when the group around you has so much experience in the sector. I learned a lot and I did it having fun! I would definitely repeat."

"Lastly, I liked that we were also able to use my hand and arm with vitiligo, along with the flowers, to create some of the photos. It was just another experience of the day, just as beautiful as the rest. Thanks for everything! I will keep an eye out for new editions of similar workshops." - Carla Roche Roca

"First of all, the workshop was exceptionally well organized. The instructor Marta Pilotto was absolutely amazing. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and it was inspiring to learn from professionals who truly love their craft. Marta provided a perfect balance of technical information and creative inspiration, making the session accessible for beginners while offering valuable insights for those with more experience. The collaboration with Nostalgic Store added a unique touch to the workshop. The selection of analogue cameras and accessories available for hands-on use was impressive, allowing us to experiment with different equipment and understand the particulars of various film formats."

"What I especially appreciated was the emphasis on creativity and experimentation. Marta encouraged us to break free from the limitations of digital perfection and embrace the unpredictability and charm of analogue photography. In addition, the workshop fostered a sense of community among the participants. It was great to meet like-minded people who share a passion for analogue photography. The collaborative environment made it easy to exchange ideas and tips."

"In conclusion, this workshop exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It rekindled my love for analogue photography and provided me with new skills and perspectives that I look forward to applying in my future projects. I would recommend this workshop to anyone interested in analogue photography, whether an experienced photographer or someone just starting out. A big thank you to Lomography Spain, Nostalgic Store, and everyone involved in making this experience so memorable." - Marta Lanzanova

"I love that Lomography maintains its casual, everyday essence intertwined with the individuality of each one. These spaces are so necessary to create community, and get to know other photographers and their work. I first encountered Lomography over 15 years ago with my super colorful Diana F+, but this was the first time shooting in 110 and with a Diana Mini."

"As always, letting go of control and waiting for the magic feels like a morning after Christmas. "Creating images without pretensions is what nourishes my creativity the most. Thank you all for opening this space." - Angélica Rueda
