Last year, Creativa Barcelona, Spain's leading event for crafts and DIY, took place at La Farga de L’Hospitalet. The event celebrated a wide range of creative activities, from handmade crafts to patchwork and scrapbooking. It aimed to engage the growing community of craft enthusiasts through high-quality workshops and experiences, offering an alternative to the increasingly digital world of leisure. Creativa has become a key gathering for those passionate about arts, crafts, and creative hobbies.
Sibux began his photography journey around 15 years ago, diving into the world of Toy Cameras and experimental analogue photography. This passion led him to further his studies in various photographic disciplines. In 2019, he launched Sibux Fotografía, combining his work as a photographer with teaching and mentoring. His creations are rooted in experimental photography, including techniques like camera modifications, double exposures, light painting, and even cyanotype and homemade cameras.
"I was familiar with Lomography cameras but had never used one. I thought it was a very original initiative because they gave us a camera with a film, we could use it and get the results with the development." - Blanca Muñoz
