Memorial

This was a spontaneous memorial put up at one end of Prospect Park where I was shooting some of my first pix with a recently gotten large format 4x5. While moving to another location I passed this memorial for a young man I know little of and was moved to document it. Under normal 35mm conditions the making of the pic would have been moments but with full array large format, setup this image was about a half hour. The deceased is a young man named John Said according to the picture. Peace to his soul and this picture is in homage.
