    Wow, nature can appear truly brutal.
    People don't like to see fluffy & sweet beings killed (even if they eat meat).
    Emotionally I don't like to see it as well but the snake is hungry and I totally understand that.
    It might seem unusual to take photos of someone dying & another one nurishing but I'd say nature is neutral in that way so I like this 'distubing' photo! :)

    @lalouve Thank you for your comment! I understand your point of view. It might help to ease your mind that I always feed my snake prekilled (frozen thawed) rats - they are still dead, but they probably died quicker as if they had a fight with the snake.
    As it seems unusual for us, that a predator swallows its prey whole, I found it especially fascinating to capture this process.
