Can you go back 20 years?

Among other items in a shoebox of film I received from a friend shopping flea markets was a pack of SX-70 film that was marked best before 1998. So of course, I saved it until 2018 so I could see what 20 year old instant film looked like. I got more than I expected.

Nice abstract. So, you got the SX-70 in 1998, though at that time it was already 10 years past expiration?

Thanks for the comments @klawe, @chromagnon and @neufotomacher. Ooops, sorry for the typo, the film expired in 1998 (I have since corrected) and it came into my possession about 5 years ago.
