I started the Los Angeles Analogue Adventure Club a week or two ago so that the lomographers and film photographers here in Los Angeles can have a photo community where we can share ideas and also organize events and meets.

On April 21, we had our first meet and it was a great fun day! Lomographers @trw (who co-hosted the event), @af-capture, and @herbert-4 joined me, @af-capture's better half Ninfa, and Elli of Elli and Polly Photography (www.facebook.com/ElliAndPollyPhotography) on a lovely day at Los Angeles' Descanso Gardens.

Everybody got along well and everybody joined in the fun, taking turns wearing animal masks, jumping, telling stories. It was an easy and drama-free day with the nicest people.

Los Angeles, or the City of Angels, is known for its stars, beaches and being the birthplace of the American film industry. There are so many different parts of the city to explore, and each has a different activity for everyone. Venture to Beverly Hills for the fashion, the South Bay to do a little surfing, or Griffith Park to take a look at the iconic Hollywood sign. Also the food scene is diverse and vibrant. There is so much to see, and we are excited to see what inspires our Lomographers!
