shared by laurasulilly on 2012-08-25My mother and Hamburg harbour. This is my mother. She can't travel much anymore because of her health, so I made her visit Hamburg harbour by using your beautiful film and the unique IP trasparency technique. I don't know whether anyone but me can relate to this shot, but I like how she's overseeing Hamburg harbour although she will never make it there in person. Homeless
shared by falsedigital on 2010-05-06This man was sitting outside a McDonald's in Washington D.C. I didn't have anything but a dollar in my pocket and my camera with me so I walked up to him and kindly asked if I could take a photo of him, offering him the dollar in return. He agreed and ended up telling me a long story about how georgetown has changed over the years and how he's been on the street all these years watching everything transform. I lived in D.C. for 3 years and it changed a whole lot in such a short time...I can't imagine what he must have seen being there his entire life. Even though things were tough for him he was smiling the entire time he talked. This roll of film sat in my camera for almost 6 months in the worst conditions possible (hot steamy cars, baking in sunlight near the window, etc.) I wasn't able to process it any sooner. Well it turns out that the terrible conditions ruined the entire roll...except for this photo. Even though it's in rough shape...I'm very proud of how it turned out.

I have got a lot of rolls of new Precisa film that I bought by mistake, and I'm bored of that horrible green, so I decided to use them to try new things. This roll is pushed (I shot it as 400, and then pushed 1'3 stops at the lab). The pictures with enough light look quite nice, but the darkest ones are sooooo dark. The grain is ok.

hands
shared by werriston on 2011-10-11First attempt at some double exposures on my Mamiya TLR. Shot with a tripod and cable release on Fuji Velvia 50 iso, with the camera set to 25. Most of the images were overexposed, so I threw away the color channels and scanned the infrared channel instead. Keeping the images black and white was the only way to retain an acceptable level of detail. Fingers crossed for better results next time.
