Italien 2015
shared by fotohelmut on 2015-07-21This school year brought us the final journey of our 10th graders to Italy. The first visit was to the city of Romeo and Juliet - Verona. Of course I got my Horizon Perfekt accompanied on this journey and in Verona the RedScale film was inserted. The Horizon has become my constant companion on trips. A day at the Listening Ears
shared by micky_s on 2013-07-15These are the old 'listening ears', or sound mirrors, built on the South Coast in the early 20th century in order to be able to hear enemy aircraft activity all the way on the other side of the channel (aka in France), before the days of radar and satellites these behemoths have survived to show the ingenuity of the times, although now they look much more like some soviet memorial somewhere!

#3437358
shared by ladylynn on 2006-08-31august bank holiday - the last hope for a late burst of summer. there was sunshine at the close of the day, but it was accompanied by a nip in the air. the sandman emerged again as the sun began to bow towards worthing. he comes out at low tide to draw his circles in the sand. he listens to his walkman loud and pretends to ignore the modest crowd that gather to watch him draw his temporary designs.
