I joined Lomography with a Diana Mini, Love is in the Air edition (R.I.P.). I have the lab develop my film only, receive uncut negatives, cut them myself, and scan them with an Epson 4490 negative scanner. I take a lot of photos at rock concerts (Radiohead especially) and am experimenting with light painting recently. I also had an Oktomat (R.I.P.) and a vintage Nimslo 3D camera (R.I.P.), as well as Robot 3 (R.I.P.) that started misfiring after just a few rolls. I started instant photography with the Lomo'Instant Kickstarter special edition camera. My last addition prior to an extended hiatus was the Sprocket Rocket. I say last because, in the process of evolving from dietary vegan to ethical vegan, I made the hard decision to abandon one of my favorite hobbies (analogue photography) and only shoot the remaining rolls of film I had, then stop.

However, after not taking any film photos for over 4 years, I for some reason decided to forego my ethics slightly and dive back in. I miss my Diana Mini so much, but I didn't want to buy the same camera again as I felt I couldn't replicate that magic exactly. So I bought a Diana F+ deluxe kit (that contains several extra lenses and accessories). I have never had a 120 camera before, so here we go! I also bought a 35mm novelty called a Split-Cam, so we'll see what happens with that. And I did break down and replace two of my other beloved cameras that broke, a Nimslo 3D from the 1980s and another Oktomat. Wish me luck! That's a very fun and unique camera. Also, I had to upgrade my scanner to work with more modern computers, so I got the Epson V600.
