Your photos have me convinced to get an F5 now. Your self portrait stuff is crazy cool, your models are amazing and you are impressive in the penis department and photograph well. But seriously I’m hitting eBay for an F5 tonight

That is one Hell of a Compliment, Thank You Very Much Kind Sir!!! I owe everything to my models, they're all Remarkable and Insanely talented!!! I really appreciate you like my self-portraits, that really means a lot!!! I'm eternally grateful to my models for allowing me to shoot alongside them!!!!

The F5!!!! Widely considered to be the best SLR ever made, only the F6 is considered better. I've put hundreds and hundreds of rolls through mine over the past 9 years and so far, it's never let me down (knock on wood). However, it's a big and heavy monster!! Before you commit to the F5, you may want to think about the F100. It does 90% of what the F5 does, but in a lighter more compact package. Plus it costs considerably less, which means money left over for lenses if you need them. I also shoot motorsports, specifically motorcycle racing, so that 8 frames per second is huge for me. But if you don't need these bells & whistles then the F100 may be a better choice.

I highly recommend you check out KEH.com & usedphotopro.com first. You might pay a little more than on Ebay, but both offer a 180 day warranty and free shipping to boot... to me that's worth more than saving a few dollars. I bought my F5 (2 of me actually) from KEH ages ago in bargain condition and they looked virtually new. Most everything I purchase from KEH is Bargain, never had a problem.

Definitely give the F100 some consideration, there's a ton of info. on it and the F5 via google.

    Good Luck!!!

I have a plethora of lenses that will work with the F5 I’ve been shooting with Nikon for years…. I have a few F90X cameras and it’s time for the F5 now… I wish an F6 but that’s crazy expensive

@steptoeedwall That sounds awesome, and apologies for any redundant info. from my first comment, I didn't realize/ know you were already a Nikon shooter!! I'd never shot Nikon prior to my F5, so for me there was a bit of a learning curve. Good Luck finding yourself an F5, I look forward to seeing your results and hearing what you think of it! The F6, a friend of mine has one and has promised to let try it out!!! I look forward to that day!
And Thank You Again for all the Kind words too, they Mean A Lot!!
