This was the second time I chose the Monzen-Nakacho district as a base for exploration during a stay in Tokyo. I've already said all the good things I think about this place, but in the evening, it's even better! Just walk along its main street or behind dark alleys, to make your choice: trendy izakayas, popular canteens, fish specialties, gyoza, skewers or other, hole-in-the-wall bars with jazz and old whiskeys, or shacks where you drink standing up... I would need many more stays to explore all the bars and restaurants in Monzen-Nakacho... and when you return to the hotel, you come across groups of employees all drunk, supporting each other on their way to the subway...

Tokyo

Tokyo, Japan’s capital, offers a unique blend of analogue charm and vibrant modernity, perfect for photography enthusiasts. The city’s traditional neighborhoods, such as Asakusa with its historic temples and narrow alleyways, provide rich opportunities for capturing the essence of old Tokyo, while areas such as Ginza and Shinjuku capture the energy and modernity of the largest urban environment in the world.
