When the conference among Luzon artists began, the creation of the first two paintings started as a communal work among painters. On the way to the resort's restaurant from breakfast to lunch till dinner, I would pass by this group of visual artists at the ground floor taking turns on filling up the huge canvases with lines, colors, shapes, textures and meanings... until both paintings were finally completed and displayed at the exhibition gallery at the Gat Blas Ople Building in Malolos. Upon entrance to the building, you would be greeted by magnificent mural paintings depicting some interesting moments in history - including the last three images representing Philippine revolution.
