Silver Prints

Well, I haven't been online much lately. All the images in this album were made in the darkroom. I find it so relaxing to print one image in the middle of the night, and spend several hours getting it just right. There is so much more artistry to printing than scanning, I've loved learning about filtering, burning, dodging, and splitting grades. So worth it, if you get a chance to try printing go ahead!

These were taken in and around some abandoned railroad cars near Kingston, NY. They are currently awaiting restoration by the Empire State Railway Museum, but are decaying quite badly in the meantime.
