Cosina CX-2

Again an album with shots from my tours (walks and bike rides). This time in colour - a Lomo Colour 100 loaded in a Cosina CX-2. My third roll with this camera and I am not overwhelmingly impressed. Shots at infinity do not get sharp and also the light metering does not work properly. Even though my Lomo LCA shows serious signs of wear and tear and even though I have always to carry some small screws with me to fix the LCA...I prefer it over the Cosina CX-2. Nevertheless I like this album - the short comings of the camera combinded wiht the Lomo Colour film provide a nostalgic touch to the photos - some almost like paintings.

Rolf, I like these very much, although not what you were maybe hoping for they are still unmistakably film and that's why we spend our money on this crazy hobby when we could get superior images with digital cameras and phones which nevertheless would look so bland in comparison. Are you developing your own colour yet?

@charliedontsurf Thanks for your thumbs up - they mean a lot to me. Your are right - I also like the results but was expecting a little more from the Cosina - it does not meet up with the vibrancy of the Lomo LCA. No - I do not develop colour at my home; but have developed now the second colour roll at a friend's place. His late father was an analogue shooter too and the darkroom is still quite intact (even though not used for the last ten years).
