The spirit of '66!

Got hold of this roll of Ektachrome that expired in 1966, I've had it in the fridge for months (not sure why, who knows what it's been stored in for the last 40 years!) waiting for the holy trinity of a sunny day, an empty camera and some spare time to coincide. A glorious sunny autumn evening arrived on cue and off I went. I've been waiting for this for ages, not knowing if the film was still usable. Then the lab phoned, excited as I was that the oldest film they've ever processed had signs of life...

Oooh! Cool! I just got some film as well! And I'm going to have a punt at Caffenol processing... mines a 1972 film. Fingers crossed! Nice shots of the toon 😊
