The island of Boracay has a thriving merchant economy specially during peak seasons such as summer and holidays. You don't have to worry in case you forgot to bring your sunblock lotion, UV-safe sunglasses, snorkeling gears and even your swimsuit. Various items from souvenirs to beach attires abound in the many shops along the main sandy pathwalk. Establishments that occupy both sides of the pathwalk are either restaurants or shops. As long as you have cash or credit card, you'll be covered. And in case you run out of cash, there are banks and ATM machines also.
