the tunnel beneath umbrella street
shared by lomomowlem on 2016-09-21Having snapped the umbrellas I flicked the MX button and wandered around looking for something to shoot over the top. Found what I was looking for next to the train station in Bath where this tunnel provided an ideal second layer. The placement turned out well but then that's what shooting doubles is all about for me - blind luck!

shared by sandkorn on 2009-12-21Dippemess is a tradition which dates back to the 14th century. At that time, the Maamess, as it was then called, was a medieval market for domestic articles. Potters from the Westerwald, Kannebäckerland and Urberach came here to sell their wares, especially their ceramic bowls and pots. These were known in the Frankfurt dialect as 'Dippe' from which the event soon took its name. Over the years, more and more fairground booths and popular attractions joined the market as well. The Dippemess today is Frankfurt’s largest fair and a lot of fun :)

Gulang Pan (China #17)
shared by wil6ka on 2016-09-14Moments of Gulanf in Black and White done in Panoramascope. The architecture is especiaaly interesting, because it's an eclectic mix of western and chinese styles, as the English had a period of freindly occupation there, if I am not wrong...

Prince
shared by bloomchen on 2016-09-212016 is a bitch! Quite some people passed away who were idols for many around the globe. People who changed the world, people who changed our ways of thinking and people who made us having a good time. I picked out a few like David Bowie, Muhammad Ali, Prince or Zaha Hadid and added people that somehow influenced me a lot like Lou Reed, Adam Yauch and Serge Gainsbourg. I added pics of stars and galaxies to them which some might think is lofty but hey: Loftiness - is it the right word? - fits perfectly to people who passed away.
