Lomo Spinner: Test No.1
So this camera always appealed to me but like most Lomography products there were significant issues that were holding me back. Initially the price - I personally feel paying in excess of £10 for a toy camera is excessive. Then its format - As I own a Canon EOS-1N it blows all other 35mm cameras out the water, so I tended to stick to 120/220 medium format cameras to bring out a higher quality.
But to my surprise I found one going on eBay for under a third of the RRP (Which at the time I thought was still a bit pricey) So snapped that up and came home off my holiday and it was waiting for me. The build quality is surprisingly robust and has a great feel/finish. And straight off the bat with practically no indications it worked fine and i had no problems with it.
2 Issues though - Having no shutter count is a bit shit, unless you you plan to burn a roll every time you use it. And the second is scanning the negs! what a bitch i feel as though ill leave the rolls from this camera to the pro's at the lab to scan!
