Homemade red filter

I've not had much Lomo joy these past three weekends — shot three rolls and they all turned out mediocre :( >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> This is from roll #1. I used a red pen to colour in the green filter that comes with the Horizon Perfekt, hoping to create a contrast-boosting red filter, but it just made all the shots really out of focus.
