Sophie and I got lost on our way to Coney Island. The camera's batteries were running low, but I took the chance to put on one last roll that I had to finish before sunset. It was a great idea!
I was introduced to her by some friends and it was love at first sight. I knew I had to make her mine. So I took her out in the countryside in the late summer sun to get to know her better. As we walked I realised I didn't even know her name, so she leaned in close and whispered....Aerochrome.
In the summer of 2020, we took a trip to Rochefort, in Charente-Maritime, a town known for the film *The Young Ladies of Rochefort*, but also for having been built from scratch by Louis XIV to house a naval shipyard that operated for three centuries. And once again, the excellent film *Metropolis* lived up to all its promises.
Large format photography project with Lomochromes. :) Photographed with Graflex Crown Graphic and Purple + Turquoise. I filled the filmholders with strips of both films. I had a little fail while developing when two halves of film stuck together. So I lost two halves of different frames. Never mind though. Overall it's a success and I love the results. :)
