Carena, vous connaissez? C'est le nom sous lequel la société allemande Porst commercialisa une partie des appareils photo construits par d'autres fabricants, notamment Cosina. Mon Carena S2000 na même pas eu cette chance, puisqu'il a été construit par... Phenix, marque chinoise très peu connue. Mais finalement peu importe, et bonne surprise, il fonctionne très bien. Il présente les mêmes caractéristiques que mon cher Revueflex SC2 : un appareil 100 % manuel avec diodes dans le viseur, et monture K. Je l'ai testé récemment, à Venise, et il s'en est très bien tiré, doté des mêmes objectifs Auto Revuenon, il faut le reconnaître, ainsi que d'un 100mm Pentax que j'avais acheté pour l'occasion. Bref, une doublure fiable pour mon Revueflex, au cas où.

Have you ever heard of Carena? It is the name under which the German company Porst marketed some of their cameras built by other manufacturers, in particular Cosina. My Carena S2000 didn't even have that chance, since it was built by... Phenix, a little-known Chinese brand. But in the end it doesn't matter, and good surprise, it works very well. It has the same characteristics as my dear Revueflex SC2: a 100% manual camera with diodes in the viewfinder, and K mount. I tested it recently, in Venice, and it did very well, equipped with the same lenses Auto Revuenon, you have to admit, as well as a Pentax 100mm that I had bought for the occasion. In short, a reliable liner for my Revueflex, just in case.
