Beer, Booze & Canteen: The Apprentice Xmas Bash '87

The Youth Time Capsule - Apprentice Xmas December 1987 - A massive, empty civil service canteen. It was just our class celebrating. The instructors had finally packed up and gone home, so we instantly causing some proper trouble. Everyone else was just sitting around, quietly playing cards and sipping their beers. But as you can see, I completely lost my plot. Wearing my slouch hat, chugging straight from the bottle, while a mate is trying to smash a chair over my head. Appropriately, a cassette of Bruce Hornsby and the Range was blasting from our JVC boombox. This wasn't a proper government event - it was pure rock 'n' roll. - I shot these pictures om Ilford HP 5 using a Minolta X-300, which my father bought for me in April of the same year. The Lens was an Exakta 2,8/24mm, combinded with a Minolta Auto Electroflash 132x.
