I don't shoot nudes often. I could try to explain why, but the truth is I would be recycling what John Berger said so well in "Ways of seeing" (that in so many cases, the subject is not the naked woman in the frame, but the male viewer for whom the image is made, or that in also many cases, nudity is not intimacy but another costume, etc). I personally prefer to concentrate on telling in pictures who people are than in showcasing the shape of their bodies. For this time, I found it interesting to try a kind of nude that isn't really seen - that happens in front of the camera but not actually for the camera. Thank you for introducing me to John Berger's work. I have really enjoyed watching the Ways of Seeing TV series. I've ordered a copy of the book that went with the series and his words have created a very banquet for my mind. I don't do portrait or life study work but the concepts that you reference above really does make wonder, and worry, about my own perceptions. Again thank you.

@rkm-tsl I am so glad that this produced that effect on you! Excellent both the TV series and book. These are main topics to discuss and consider, perhaps even more than back then.

Yeah you may be right, of course there are some things I take issue with but that is more because of the historical context which he clearly not aware of because he is an artist not a historian but I can't fault most of his points.
