The monument was built in 1971 and is dedicated to the Kosmaj Partisan Detachment, which operated in this area during the National Liberation War from 1941 to 1944. It is situated in the village of Koraćica, in the municipality of Mladenovac, and has monumental dimensions — the base of the monument measures 18 meters, while its height is 30 meters. The authors of the monument are sculptor Vojin Stojić and architect Gradimir Medaković.

Belgrade is one of the most fascinating cities for street photography in Central and Southeastern Europe. Its layered cityscape – from 19th-century facades to Bauhaus, brutalism, and bold contemporary forms – tells a story of constant reinvention. Street art, performances, and cultural events pulse through the city, blending heritage with a raw, modern energy that’s perfect for analogue exploration.
