Ancestors (We are family)

The youngest looking is my grandfather who died in the mid 1980ies aged 73, the Lady in the center (1st row) is my great grandmother. To her right (in the picture) is her sister in law, to her left her sister, behind her is her brother (with glasses) and her mother. Glass negatives found in my family collection, scanned 2009. A good friend made the virtual frame, adjusted the scan and added the inscription.

    Time machine! By your description I calculate the plates are from 1930s or early 40s? Very nice quality still!

    @rodiongork 1930ies. THe house was built 1929-30 by architect Lois Welzenbacher for my great grandmothers brother. By the looks of the garden everything was quite new when the pics were taken. And they were on glass plates which became outdated in the 1930ies.
