For Fragmented Portraits Purpose

Trying to make a fragmented portraits inspired by @lomokev's artwork. Using 400ISO negative redscale film combined with LC-A+ RL ISO set to 50 (100ISO on the camera with additional single negative layer) both produced really solid tone of red/yellow and the vignette is super thick.     Why is your negative film red even though it ain't a redscale ?
