The Benedictine Abbey is picturesquely situated on a rocky promontory overlooking the Vistula (Wisla) River, It's probably most famous monastery in Poland. Located on high banks of the river Wisła in a place called Tyniec, approximately 10 km west of Krakow, which used to be a smallvillage. There's a viewing terrace right on the walls above river, there's restaurant and a caffee and a souvenir shop. Monks also run a guest house. Supposedly the best impressions from sightseeing are during morning prayers, but I never got up so early jet... Founded in the 11th century (remnants of the original Romanesque basilica have been preserved), it has been repeatedly transformed and expanded, notably in the 15th and 17th centuries. The alterations introduced in the Baroque style were crucial for its contemporary guise, with a characteristic façade and two towers. The well in the yard fronting the church was dug 40 m (130 ft) deep into sheer rock.

I'm on a roll, the last couple of days I am working with wood as a medium and it is very rewarding. This time I got a bit more conceptual and worked with my muse and Chinese Geisha Du Yan on another one. I only applied emulsion on a streak in the middle with one strong brush stroke and let it dry for a very short time to prevent too much of the emulsion to sink in. Love the results and can't wait to work on some more tomorrow.

Since last year I started to collect Konica lenses and for sure I got also some bodies. I have repaired this Konica TC but it had some problems with delayed shutter. So not every pictures was like I wanted. I used the very good Konica Hexanon AR 35mm f2 and 135mm f2.5 for these pictures. I'm really impressed from the results. I also used these lenses on a Sony A7II and the results are really awesome. I can strongly recommend Konica-lenses.
