I got a flatbed scanner (at last!!) so this is the first 35 mm I scanned all by myself! Shot with my Minolta Dynax 505 si and of course, the fabulous Lomochrome Purple. Most of the shots were taken on a very cloudy and dusty day so I did not expect much
Monument rocks were incredible, They're chalk formations.
On the way across Kansas we found some cool spots. I've got a bad habit of not being careful when the Horizon is at the end of it's roll and advancing it too much and breaking the film. I had this awesome camera store in Colorado Springs take it out for me and put the film in a black canister and tape it. Guess the new person at the lab i usually use briefly opened it when i took it to get developed, because they also RUINED a roll of Velvia 50 that the same thing had happened to in my Horizon. ONly when they took the velvia out of the Horizon, they didnt tape it. I'm very mad about that, it was my first time shooting Velvia 50, and all the pics from the top of Aspen mountain and whatnot are forever lost. rant over. enjoy the pics.

Holga 120 N camera with Ilford Delta 3200 pushed one stop when developing. I had a Pocket Wizard on the hot shoe of the Holga control one Alien Bee B800 with a medium sized Octobox (basically one studio light). It really was a blast controlling a studio light with a Holga!
This beach is a paradise, the water is so clear.. Tried to shoot with Krab and LC-Wide ..this are the best shots out of 3 rolls. I´m very happy with the results!
These are the results of my first diy redscale film, taken a month ago already (I was just too lazy to upload them earlier...). I really love the blue tones and definitely gonna shoot one again!

The best bit about photography is the memories. I remember vividly being seduced by the beauty of the swans and quickly firing off 3 or 4 shots before actually taking in the scene as a whole. It was only then that i noticed the distant scenery with the sun bursting through the clouds and thinking that a backlit shot might be worth a punt! The xa2 's meter did a great job in rendering everything in silhouette but i wouldnt change it now! A year later and taking these negatives into the darkroom i'm re-living the memories, these two shots are ones that i will probably print again again darker, lighter, toned, cropped, bigger, smaller, the possibilities are endless. Paper is best:)
