this is a photo from my alien mask series. I was with my girlfriend on the bike touring around the Groninger landscape there were a lot of yelow flower fields on our way but most of them we could not come close until we. accidentally ignored a no trespassing sign we jumped of our bikes I quikly put my alien masker on told my girlfriend how I wanted the picture and she pushed the button of my camera. The farmer who's field it was drove by and smiled from ear to ear.

  • First roll of Xpro Chrome which ended up with…

    shared by sancia on 2012-05-12

I had some difficulties to rewind the roll. In my impatience to sort this out, I was not careful enough and my roll caught some lights. This gave some interesting red effects. Also on some slides, the light impressed the roll itself.

This is one of my favourite lomographies, along with others in this same roll. It was my first x-pro roll and, although some of the pictures didn't came out as I expected, I love the colors in this one! This pictures encouraged me to use more and more x-pro rolls. I just love them!! Plus it reminds me a lot of the summer! I made sunflowers something like my signature.

  • Exposing Both Sides of the Film

    shared by hodachrome on 2012-06-20

First trial of EBS. Shot on correct side first in a sunny/bright day, at ISO400(ISO800 film inside). Below half was masked with a splitzer. After finished a roll, reverse the film (in a dark-room). Then start shooting on redscale side in a cloudy/rainy day, at ISO200. Upper half was masked with a splitzer. The order of each location is precisely the same as 1st shots. I took notes in details about locations and shot all places with iPhone, to remember locations. It's tough challenge because I had to wait for the best weather for each shots, and had to be careful with 'gaps' between frames. This is not bad result but I found some mistakes. Have a look at my article about this technique: http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2013/01/14/tipster-how-to-take-symmetrical-images-with-exposing-both-sides-of-the-film-ebs

    (1) Go to the 'Where is this' google map at the bottom right. (2) Drag and drop the little yellow guy at the centre of the blue circle. (3) turn your 'head' and here's the tree ! : )

My first foray to the beach this year. My last time was also over a year ago. The beach had several romanesque status. The sea, the sand, the sunset and food was great.
