So I followed the advice in a recent tipster and taped a little piece of old film leader over the light meter on my LC-A+ and set it on 100 ISO. Sure enough, this looks like ISO 25 to me so it works great and I can do doubles too. I'm happy. :)
Expose lower half first, and set a tripod upside down and expose upper half in the same way as 1st shot.
To turn tripod 180 degrees, I used two panheads.
About 10 seconds each. Using a cable release and black adhesive tape (to mask the light sensor of LC-A+). Vivid blue or purple colours are by trucks decorated with light bulbs. Needed patience and concentration...
Sometimes it's more important to show what's up and down than left and right – turning your camera 90 degrees to make a portrait shot sometimes gives a unique view to the world.
I've gone through about 5 packs of Instax films so far. What a blast they are! It's a bit tricky though to get the exposure right, especially if you're trying for doubles. I used a variety of add on lenses in this album including the wide angle, Tunnel Vision and a closeup lens I got off Ebay.
