I had a blast taking photos of the horses that a friend of mine is helping to look after at the Singapore Saddle Club. In case you’re wondering about the names of the horses, the grey horse is called Cheetah, the small chestnut pony in paddock is Little Red, the dark bay horse with 2 white legs is Blackjack and the dark bay horse with all dark brown legs is Puddles. All these horses were former race horses put to pasture. They are the lucky ones. These photos were taken using a Nikon F601 SLR with a Tokina 20-35mm wide angle lens.

My Great Wall PF-1 is quickly becoming my go-to 35mm camera. It has a fixed shutter speed like a lot of other toy cams but you have huge latitude with the aperture and a built in light meter. This makes this cam the perfect partner for redscale. LOVE IT. Shot a couple rolls with it at the Tempe Festival for the Arts. I really, really dig the results. Eat you heart out kids.

My friend and I woke up at 3:30 in the morning to drive and catch the sunrise on the beach for a little photo session. Abby was such a trooper, she was getting (basically) naked in 25 degree weather! IT WAS FREEZING.
I had the pleasure of going on the Lomography Gallery Store NYC secret bus tour. It was a great fun-filled day! I met many amusing people and photographed many more of them!
