This collection is a chronicle of light and decay. Captured on the mechanical soul of a Canon A-1, these frames are the result of a gamble with time: Ferrania Solaris 100, aged and weathered long past its prime. In the late summer heat of Hala Gąsienicowa, the mountains didn't just bloom; they vibrated. The expired emulsion acted as a prism, shifting the violet of the flowers and the granite grey of the Tatras into a dreamscape of "shifted" reality. The colors are no longer mere pigments—they are memories distorted by years of waiting inside a canister. These photographs are a silent prayer for the simple life of the highlanders—a life measured by the sun's arc rather than the ticking of a clock. In the grain of the film, there is a raw, unyielding beauty; a longing for a world that remains as steadfast as the peaks themselves.
