Salzburg is one of those cities that feels almost too perfect at first glance. But stay a little longer and the polished postcard starts to crack in the best possible way. Baroque facades fade in the afternoon light, wrought iron signs creak above old shop doors, and mountains frame the view in the distance. It’s a city made for slow walks and loaded film rolls.
