Beautiful day.

Siberia. Winter. I remember this beautiful December day well. As always, even a light breeze is enough to shake the winter's night-time finery from the branches by midday. If you look closely, you can still see, against the dark trunks, white fluffy wisps of weightless snow, floating from the treetops to the ground.

    Dear kerwinmallar.
Thank you for your attention, opinion, and emotions.
I want to express my opinion once again under this photograph. The beauty of sunny winter landscapes cannot be captured in a digital scan of a film frame. This beauty can be seen through a good magnifying glass, examining the frame on positive film, or by projecting it onto a good reflective screen. The range of light in a scene cannot be captured in a digital copy of such a landscape. Therefore, one always has to choose, always try to remember, compose, and imagine... So, and this photograph can be compared to a painting.

    Dear steamtug1959.
Thank you for your attention, opinion, and emotions.
I often remember, both for myself and for my friends, your professional, precise approach to creativity and landscape photography. But you know, when photographing a winter landscape, especially on a frosty, sunny day, it's not always possible to replicate your experience or follow your example. But at the same time, the memories of it warm me.

I'm just an old Man who's been taking Photos all my Life.
The only Trick I use in challenging lighting c
Conditions is over- and underexposure and a polarizing Filter.
I also have to admit that a lot of Photos end up in the Trash (you only see the good ones here ;-)
Best Regards, and never stop taking Photos, Ralph
