These photographs were born out of chance, chemistry and saltwater. I submerged expired film rolls in the ocean before developing them, letting time, tide and unpredictability rewrite the emulsion. What emerged were not just images, but living reactions — colors bleeding into one another, shapes dissolving, memories corroded yet strangely more alive. Every frame carries traces of what cannot be controlled: temperature, salt crystals, decay, and the quiet collaboration between nature and film. The imperfections are not errors but revelations. They remind me that photography isn’t always about precision — sometimes it’s about surrendering to the unknown and allowing the unexpected to become the story. In these fragments, I see something more real than accuracy: the poetry of trial and error, the beauty of what survives transformation, and the proof that even when the emulsion breaks down, something unforgettable remains. #TrialAndError #FilmSoup #ExpiredFilm #AnalogExperiment #HappyAccidents #OceanEmulsion #SaltwaterFilm #UnpredictableBeauty #LomoLove #AnalogAlchemy #FilmIsAlive
