This trip was lovely despite the horrid heat waves and small but mighty hills in the Protected Landscape Area we went to: The Lusatian "Mountains" (in my native language it's "CHKO Lužické hory"). My sisters goal was 100 km in the span of 5 days but it soon became a fitness check for me... so we shortened our routes A LOT, cuz I was DYING haha. All in all it was very sweet and "light" backpacking trip. Well, she had a smaller and lighter backpack and mine was (we estimated) 20 kilos??! Yeah... no wonder I was dying even when walking up or down those devilish "average height" hills...
