Braun Paxette Panto Fixed 40 mm Ennagon lens, around f/5.6–f/8. No manual focus or aperture settings. Shutter speed: likely fixed at 1/40 s, with no selectable options. Light meter: large selenium cell on top; fully automatic, no user controls. Paxette Panto / Electromatic I The Paxette Panto is very similar to the Electromatic I, primarily aimed at the North American and Canadian market. Designed for simple “point-and-shoot” photography, it was produced around 1960–1963. Braun manufactured cameras into the 1960s but eventually ceased due to high labor costs in Germany. Afterward, the company shifted its focus to slide projectors and later transitioned to digital optical equipment. #BraunPaxette #PaxettePanto #ElectromaticI #VintageCamera #PointAndShoot #FixedLens #SeleniumMeter #AnalogPhotography #35mmCamera #RetroCamera #1960sPhotography #MadeInGermany #FilmCamera #CameraHistory #VintageGear #ShootFilmStayBroke #FilmIsNotDead
