I've had my mom's old Kodak S100EF ever since I started with film, but I never got around to testing it until recently. Expected it to be hilariously bad (if it even had any light seals left) - but it's actually not awful when given tons of sunlight and a lot of focus distance. Don't know when I'm gonna take it out next, but it's a lot cooler to have, now that I know it actually works

Almaty

Almaty might not be the capital, but don’t let that fool you. It’s Kazakhstan’s biggest and most vibrant city, and locals will tell you it’s an absolute must. It’s a cultural crossroads where people from all over Central Asia, Russia, and beyond come together, creating a rich, cultural mix. Think: temples beside mosques, mountains framing every view, and a bit of unpredictable traffic. But the real highlight? The warm-hearted locals, for whom hospitality isn’t just tradition.
