Earthlings (Senegal #7)

I am currently in a process to shoot a documentary about sustainable architecture in sub sahara Africa. Very emblematic for this development is the architecture with raw earth. With just little additio addition of cememt sand is pressed and sun dried to so called BTC - compressed bricks of earth. I went to a Sand Quarry to film how this symbolic material for all Africa is harvested.
