To commemerate the Armistice, a poppy drop over the Battle of Britain memorial was organised. 750,000 poppies were dropped from a C47 Dakota. I was standing at Abbotts cliffe watching. After the C47 and escorting Spitfires had departed, I photographed a couple of structures which I'd been meaning to do for years, but I'm usually on my mountain bike and I'm usually travelling at some miles per hour!
