the Furry King (Indonesia #55)

It was a little bit of magic, as we were marching into the jungle of north sumatra in search of the majestic orang utans. And there they were, I and Shasti fed them with bananas and they were caressing her hair. Some of these majestic creatures had been nurtured by humans as they were young, so they are familiar with people. Generally it is better if they stick to heir own, but I am very grateful for this encounter. Of course it was very dark and hard to manage photography wise, but it's always the moments that count...
