Mounting the Industar 61 lens to any SLR will turn the lens into a superb macro lens. This is because the lens was not designed to work on the focal plane of an SLR. The lens is a M39 fitting to which I have added an M42 adapter and then combined with a M42 to Canon EOS adapter all available very cheaply.
