Prickly Pear

Up in the mountains of northern California, where the deer and coyotes roam. I took these pictures from a perch on the mountainside, overlooking Clear Lake, which is surrounded on all sides by mountains. It is very pretty, and quite remote. Most people seem to live quiet lives in their trailers and cabins, and spend their days hiking and fishing.
